Phantom

The Phantom is very similar to the Hunter in appearance but it has blue flesh rather than red. It is also very agile, stealthy and significantly stronger than the Hunter. Whilst jumping, it turns invisible and is covered in electricity and trailed by a wisp of black smoke. Phantoms are encountered in Nightfall and Mayday.

In Gameplay

Phantoms tend to leap around the map and are very valuable allies if tagged with a Hypno Knife. They can be very hard to fight and somewhat frustrating since they turn invisible.

Tactics to Defeat the Cryptid

• If one player distracts the Phantom into attacking them, then someone else can tag them with a Hypno Knife

• Like the Hunter, they have a hitmarker in the head area
